WATCH: Hot Press features in new coming of age movie, Dating Amber
Sharon Horgan and Barry Ward feature alongside two seriously up and coming young actors in the LGBTQ comedy
The Hot Press Drugs In Ireland: What The Hell Is Going On? cover makes a cameo appearance in Dating Amber, an LGBTQ coming of age story set in 1990s Kildare.
Dating Amber co-stars Lola Petticrew and Fionn O’Shea – who also features in Normal People – as teenage classmates who pretend to be romantically involved to hide their true sexuality.
Director David Freyne's follow up to 2016 zombie flick, The Cursed, alongside Hot Press it features Féile t-shirts, Blur vs. Oasis arguments, the Divorce Referendum and Pulp songs.
Available on Amazon Prime Video until it’s able to get a full theatrical release, Dating Amber is both very, very funny and very, very moving with Sharon Horgan and Barry Ward playing two seriously puzzled parents.
