Trailer unveiled for 'Pixie', starring Olivia Cooke, Alec Baldwin, and Dylan Moran
The black comedy was shot in Northern Ireland.
A trailer has been unveiled for Pixie, a new black comedy from director Barnaby Thompson. The film follows Pixie (rising British star Olivia Cooke), who wants to avenge her mother’s death by masterminding a heist. Her plans soon go awry and she finds herself on the run with two young men (Ben Hardy, Daryl McCormack) who are way out of their depth. They are chased across the Wild Irish countryside by gangsters, and Pixie has to pit her wits against everyone, taking on the patriarchy to claim the right to shape her own life.
Shot on location in Northern Ireland, the film also features Colm Meaney (Layer Cake, Con Air), Dylan Moran (Black Books, Shaun of the Dead) and Oscar nominated and Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin (SNL, Still Alice).
