Tommy Tiernan Releases New Stand-Up DVD "Under The Influence"
The Irish comedian's new DVD, "Under the Influence", hits stores this Friday November 16th.
Recorded at The Water Rats Venue, Kings Cross, London, the live recording of his "Under The Influence" tour captures all of the hilarity, intimacy and laughter that has made Tiernan one of the best known Irish comedians.
Refusing to take anything as gospel, Tiernan opens his show by declaring "'This isn't a platform for sincerity," and the tone is sure to follow. The show takes as its theme is all about the heroism of everyday life and the huge effort it takes just to survive the ordinary. Tiernan uses language to weave a tapestry of chaos, empathy and life loving wit where hilarious anecdotes and wild imaginings go hand in hand in.
Check out some snippets from the DVD below:
Tiernan is also back on tour with new show "Paddy Crazy Horse", with a run of dates during January in Dublin's Vicar Street, along with other performances country-wide and in the UK.
Tommy Tiernan “Under The Influence” priced at €14.99 will available nationwide from Friday November 16th
