Patrick Kielty postpones his shows at Dublin’s Vicar Street
The comedian's return to Vicar Street would have been his first in 20 years.
Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty has postponed his stand-up shows at Dublin’s Vicar Street due to conflicting filming dates.
His comedy tour Borderline was set to appear at the venue on June 6 and 7.
"Due to filming commitments, we regret that Patrick has had to postpone these events,” said a spokesperson for Vicar Street. "We look forward to rescheduling these dates as soon as possible. In the meantime, all ticket holders will receive a full refund."
Described as “a comedic love letter” to Ireland, the show marks his first live tour in five years. Kielty has earned acclaim for his 2023 film Ballywalter alongside IFTA-nominated actress Seána Kerslake, and received Best Host at the Grierson Awards for his television show My Dad, The Peace Deal and Me. His recent documentary Patrick Kielty:100 Years of Union, earned him an RTS award for Best Presenter.
More information regarding the rescheduled dates has yet to be announced.
