For the first time ever in Ireland, the critically acclaimed musical fantasy charting the life of the legendary Elton John, Paramount Pictures’ Rocketman, will be presented live in concert at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on June 3.
Rocketman depicts the story of Elton John’s life and journey to becoming one of the most successful icons of pop music. Directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Lee Hall, the film sees actor Taron Egerton take on the lead role of John, singing his way through ubiquitous hits such as ‘Your Song’, ‘Tiny Dancer, ‘I’m Still Standing’ and many more.
The film will be projected onto an ultra-HD screen, while the full 60-piece orchestra on stage brings to life the soundtrack - the music of Elton John.
Tickets are on sale this Friday, February 14 at 9am for €76.25.
