Jamie Foxx injured after restaurant altercation
The 57-year old actor had to receive stitches after being struck on his birthday celebration.
Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx was involved in an altercation at a Beverly Hills restaurant during his birthday celebration, leaving him needing stitches, according to his representative.
The Django Unchained star was celebrating his 57th birthday when a glass was thrown in his direction and “hit him in the mouth”.
"The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement's hands," a spokesman for the comedian and actor told the PA news agency.

On Sunday, the actor took to social media to address the incident, responding with a title card that read, “The devil is busy, but I’m too blessed to be stressed.” He also thanked fans for their support, including for watching his Netflix stand-up special What Had Happened Was…
“The devil is a lie. Can’t win here… thank you to everybody that pray and check on me… when your light is shining bright… they try to bring you darkness … but they don’t know that you’re built for it… the lights have been shining bright…,” he wrote on Instagram.
The Netflix special marks his return to the comedy stage following his recovery from a stroke last year. He made his first public appearance after the health scare last December to accept the Critics Choice Association’s Vanguard Award.
