Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová to team up for 15th anniversary of Once
The duo will perform together for their US tour in March 2022.
Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová will reunite next year, performing joint shows for the 15th anniversary of their film, Once.
The two co-starred in the film in 2007, and their song 'Falling Slowly' won them the Oscar the following year for Best Original Song. The Tony award-winning musical based on the film, Once: The Musical, debuted on Broadway in 2012.
Afterward, Hansard and Irglová collaborated for their project The Swell Season before pursuing solo careers.
In time for the 15th anniversary of Once, the duo will go on tour in the US. These shows will be their first shows together in over a decade and will feature songs from Once, The Swell Season and their solo careers.
Tickets for their tour go on sale this Friday, November 12, at 10am on Ticketmaster.
