Colin Farrell in talks to play The Penguin in new Batman movie
Another opponent for Robert Pattinson.
If the rumours are true, Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne will fight three villains in the upcoming Batman movie. Director Matt Reeves is reportedly in search of a third opponent for the Caped Crusader in the newest adaptation - and Colin Farrell is the frontrunner for the role.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros is currently negotiating with the Irish actor to play The Penguin, a role Jonah Hill was previously considered for before he dropped out.
It wouldn't be his first time playing a superhero villain as he portrayed Ben Affleck's opponent Bullseye in 2003's Daredevil.
Farrell would complete the trio of Batman villains with Zoë Kravitz set to play Catwoman and Paul Dano as The Riddler.
The Penguin has previously been portrayed by Danny DeVito in 1992's Batman Returns.
