Pop star Charli XCX has released her new album, Wuthering Heights, today, 13 February 2026. The album functions as the accompanying soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s much-anticipated cinematic adaptation of the classic Emily Brontë novel, which also premieres in cinemas today.
The film stars Margot Robbie as Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, portraying their "forbidden passion" in an "intoxicating" and "epic tale of lust, love and madness."
Released by Atlantic Records, Wuthering Heights is the British singer's second soundtrack album. Inspired by the screenplay, Charli XCX collaborated with Finn Keane to write several songs, ultimately deciding to create a full companion album. The two recorded the 12-track album during the Brat Tour throughout 2025.
The first single, "House" featuring John Cale, dropped on 10 November 2025. The second single, "Chains of Love", followed on 13 November, and the third single, "Wall of Sound," was released on 16 January 2026.
"My album Wuthering Heights is out at midnight," said Charli XCX in a recent Instagram post. "Thank you so much to Emerald Fennell for trusting me to make songs for your adaptation of one of the greatest love stories of all time. I couldn’t have made this album without Finn Keane, Sky Ferreira, Joe Keery, Justin Raisen and of course John Cale. Thank you for your contributions to this album, for your words, your writing, your playing, your production. Collaborating with all of you was a dream come true. Elegant and brutal xxx."

In addition to the soundtrack, Charli XCX is set to star in A24’s The Moment this month. The film, based on her original concept and directed by Aidan Zamiri, marks the inaugural co-production under her new studio365 venture.
