Billie Eilish to read Northern Irish author on CBeebies bedtime story this week
Eilish will read This Moose Belongs to Me by Oliver Jeffers
Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish will read a CBeebies Bedtime Story this friday at , the latest celebrity to have featured on the show.
The award-winning artist will recite This Moose Belongs to Me, written and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. The story follows a boy named Wilfred, who believes he owns a Moose named Marcel.
The show has seen celebrities such as Tom Hiddleston, Dave Grohl, Dolly Parton and Elton John read out children’s stories.
Oliver Jeffers is an award-winning Northern Irish writer, who has received critical acclaim for children's books such as The Way Back Home, Lost and Found and The Day the Crayons Quit.
Jeffers is also a respected illlustrator, working with Sony PSP, RCA Records and the New York Times. He was also named the World Book Day Official Illustrator in 2007
CBeebies is the BBC’s children’s channel, aimed at ages six and under.
Beginning in 2002, The CBeebies Bedtime Story airs on weekdays, and is the last show before the channel goes offline at 7pm.
