Billie Eilish announces 3D collaboration with James Cameron
James Cameron joins Billie Eilish in Manchester to film her live show
During her recent performance at Manchester's Co-Op Arena, Billie Eilish announced an upcoming collaboration with director and filmmaker James Cameron.
The Grammy Award-winning singer took a pause on stage to share her upcoming 3D project with the Avatar director.
Eilish wasn't specific on what exactly the project would be but told the audience she was filming something very special and that the Manchester audiences will be a part of it.
Cameron attended the gig, as the singer spoke to the crowd.
"So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,” said Eilish.
“Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don’t mind that, and also I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row."
More information will be revealed in the coming months but her speech gave many fans a hint that she may be filming a 3D music video or documentary.
The Californian born artist is on the HIT ME HARD AND SOFT world tour right now with two sold out shows in Dublin's 3Arena this weekend on July 26 and 27.
Billie Eilish's HIT ME HARD AND SOFT debuted No. 1 on the Official Irish Albums Charts in May last year. Two singles from the album entitled 'Lunch' and 'Chihiro' made it on the top ten Irish singles Charts the same week.
