Dublin has a wealth of incredible young creatives taking the city by storm. The young creatives series showcases just a few of the people who continue to awe us with their talent and passion. Words by Roe McDermott and Aoife Bradshow.
With piercing blue eyes, a chiselled jaw and innate intensity, it won’t surprise many that the Ballinteer native started out as a model, and he was signed to Assets agency. However the talented Gaiety School Of Acting graduate was determined to become an actor and decided to focus on that, landing roles in plays and shorts, and even becoming one of the founding members of Gumption theatre company.
After impressing audiences for two years on Vikings, where Rowen played Asbjorn, Rowen grabbed the attention of international casting agents, and he has recently landed a highly coveted role on the upcoming Sky drama Curfew, starring Sean Bean, Ada, Brody and Billy Zane. The series follows a group of amateur drivers who compete in illicit street-races. Much like Rowen’s career, it’s pedal to the metal all the way.
