Domestic abuse organisation, Women’s Aid NI, has issued a statement on the murder update of Chloe Mitchell.
Since the news broke yesterday of the discovery of human remains in Ballymena, Antrim, the missing person case of 21-year-old Chloe Mitchell has now turned into a murder inquiry.
So far, two men have been arrested- a 26-year-old man who has been charged with murder, and a 34-year-old man, who has been charged with assisting offenders.
Women’s Aid NI, released a statement on Twitter this morning, expressing their sympathy for the loved ones of Chloe Mitchell, and appealed for further information to assist in the catching of the 21-year-old’s killer.
“Women’s Aid NI wish to express our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Cloe Mitchell from Ballymena following her murder,” the statement began.
“We cannot begin to imagine the pain you are going through at the moment.”
“Chloe was only 21 years old,” it continued. “She had her whole life ahead of her.”
The statement urged those with information to contact police “by dialling ‘101’” or by contacting “Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or by submitting information to their website: crimestoppers-uk.org.”
