The berserk promo imagines a town where 17.000 texts and e-mails get leaked
A trailer for Assassination Nation, the socially conscious crime thriller which made a stir at this year's Sundance, has just been released.
The film features young stars Odessa Young, Suki Waterhouse, Maude Apatow, Bella Thorne, Bill Skarsgård and Joel McHale as inhabitants of Salem, US. Once an anonymous hacker releases over half the town's information, society breaks down descending into anarchy.
Assassination Nation is currently sitting on a 77 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising it for its timely concerns and its over the top satire.
The film is the sophomore effort of director Sam Levinson, son of acclaimed filmmaker Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietnam and Wag the Dog).
Assassination Nation will be released in Irish cinemas November 23 of this year.
