Watch: Stranger Things: SIX Comic Trailer Introduces A Brand New Character
The Dark Horse Comics prequel to the hugely successful Netflix series will be released in comic book stores and digitally on May 29.
Written by Jody Houser, who penned Dark Horse’s first ever Stranger Things comic book series - which re-examines season one from Will’s perspective - and illustrated by Edgar Salazar, the Stranger Things: SIX mini-series is set prior to the events of season one of the Netflix show and focuses largely on a brand new character named Francine, a psychic who falls under the influence of Dr. Brenner with Eleven after suffering at the hands of her family.
Eleven and her “sister” Eight are not the only ones to have been exploited by the lab. Delving into what really happens behind the closed doors of Hawkins Laboratory, the mini-series will reveal the many secrets that are left to uncover before the release of season three.
This four-issue series is the first ever Stranger Things prequel in comic book form. There’ll also be a limited edition bundle with exclusive artwork!
