Watch: The Addams Family Gets A Teaser Trailer

Universal Pictures has released the official teaser trailer for the forthcoming animated flick The Addams Family.

The trailer offers an introduction to this iteration of the iconic characters, now in animated form, and gives a peek at what new adventures await the kooky family.

The Addams Family is directed by Conrad Vernon (Sausage Party, Monsters vs. Aliens) and Greg Tiernan (also Sausage Party), and boasts a star-studded vocal cast, including Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road), Oscar Isaac (Ex Machina), Chloe Grace Moretz (Hugo) and Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things).

The Addams Family will hit Irish cinemas nationwide October 25.
