Track of the Day: Luz – 'I'm Lonely'
The introductory track from the Irish-Argentinian teen proves Luz is here to stay.
Eighteen year old Luz got her musical start by posting hundreds of anonymous covers from her bedroom over the years. At 16, she decided to lift the veil, and we're so happy she did. Her covers of Lewis Capaldi, JP Saxe and Maisie Peters have earned her opening slots at some of their tours, as well as praise from the artists themselves.
On Friday, Luz released her debut single 'i'm lonely' via Platoon. Recorded in London and produced by JMAC, the song is a beautifully written acoustic pop track, with lyrics that suggest Luz is wise beyond her years.
