The Book of Henry's first trailer is out now
Henry is a gifted 12-year-old with a brilliant mind. He helps his mom manage the household by keeping track of bills, income and basically all the other aspects of their situation. The dialogs make it clear that Henry surpasses even adult minds when it comes to knowledge and wisdom.
Just as the first part of the trailer gave off a good feeling, so does the second part radiate an equally disturbing aura. Everything is all rainbows and sunshine when Henry’s own family is introduced but when the background of his neighbor, a girl his age, unfolds the plot suddenly thickens.
What appeared to be a love story between children at first, becomes a story about the mistreatment of a girl by her stepdad and Henry has but one choice to redeem the injustice that has been committed next door.
The trailer seems like a double-edged sword. On one hand it shows us an big part of the story line, on the other hand they make us want to know how the story will end. If you'd like to check it yourself or you want to form an opinion yourself, check out the trailer below.
The movie is set to release June 16 in the US. Other release dates will be announced later.
