Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick to tour UK with new Music & Medicine tour
Tickets for Noel Fitzpatrick's tour will go on sale Friday, October 3.
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, also known as The Supervet, is heading out on a new UK tour in autumn 2026.
He will be blending personal stories from his veterinary career with live performances of his favourite rock songs.
“This will be a very special tour," he said. "Something I have never done before, mixing my passion for animals and stories from my life as a vet, with my love of music by playing all my favourite songs.”
The Ballyfin-born veterinary surgeon is best known for the show The Supervet, which aired on Channel 4 from 2014 to 2024. The show, now titled Supervet ER, continues on his YouTube channel.
At this year’s Laois Homecoming Festival, Fitzpatrick received an award in recognition of his unique and enduring contributions to animal welfare, the advancement of medical treatment for animals, and his work in literature and television.
He also performed with his band, Fitzpatrick – a name suggested by Queen guitarist Brian May, a longtime friend who has encouraged him to pursue a musical path.
Fitzpatrick told Hot Press that his interest in music is driven by a desire to spread love.
“For me,” he said, “the band is going to be a message of love to the world. If you look at what’s happening right now in Gaza, in Ukraine, in Sudan, in Ethiopia, in Myanmar, and elsewhere, I’m really concerned that compassion is being sidelined and forgotten. Hate is winning. We have to turn that around.”
Tickets for his Music & Medicine UK tour go on sale Friday, October 3. More information here.
