One person in critical condition after shooting at Lil Baby concert
The rapper was quickly rushed offstage, followed by an evacuation of the arena.
One person was left in critical condition after a shooting at Lil Baby's show on Thursday night in Memphis, Tennessee.
The shooting occurred in the first 30 minutes of Lil Baby's set on the floor of the FedEx forum, a 19,000-person capacity arena. The rapper was rushed offstage at the sound of gunshots, and the forum was later completely evacuated.

The Memphis Police Department issued a statement after the incident, describing officers responding to the shooting at 10:23 p.m. local time. “One adult male shooting victim was located and transported to Regional One Health in critical condition,” said the statement. “At this time, the identity of the shooter is unknown. No other injuries were reported and all have cleared the facility.”

On Friday, a local Memphis rapper named CEO Jizzle posted a video from a hospital bed, saying he was the one shot at the concert. He now appears to be in stable condition, and it's still unclear what the motive for the shooting was.
Lil Baby is in the midst of his Its Only Us tour, a tour that has already seen some drama: in July, he quietly cancelled several dates without explanation, and dropped The Kid Laroi as an opener. Despite the shooting, he is still scheduled to continue with the tour: his next performance will be on Saturday night in Nashville.
