New Captain Marvel Trailer Debuts

The new clip shows Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, a fighter pilot turned superhero, demonstrating to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) that she can handle herself amid a looming war.

The trailer debuted during a College Football National Championship game stateside. It opens with Danvers explaining who the shape shifting Skrull are along with telling Fury an alien invasion is impending. Jude Law appears in the clip along with Danvers fighting in space.

Set in the 90s, Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The new trailer is the first look at what is expected to come from Marvel in 2019.
