New Belfast label Love Will Bury Us unleashes debut release
The brainchild of indefatigable promoter and entrepreneur Pete Jez, newly minted Belfast-based distro Love Will Bury Us is a little like a water soaked Gremlin right now, as it seems every time we hear from them they’re doubling in size and surprising us with new ideas and creations. His latest off-shoot sees him indulge his inner Greg Ginn and release a collaboration between uncompromising Canadian noise artists Queer Fuck and Goth Girl under the LWBU brand.
Dubbed ‘Wish You Were Here,’ the opus is a forty minute magnetic collision of sounds that is available on super limited edition baby pink cassette. For those unenlightened souls sans a tape deck (or indeed Soundwave the Transformer) you can have a listen via Spotify too https://open.spotify.com/album/1zcy8xwPQU1MiIG7vOyaWW
Keep your eyes peeled for a review of the release in the Tracks Of The Fortnight section in our forthcoming festive edition of Hot Press and make sure to like Love Will Bury Us’ Facebook page for details of their release show in January, their ever-expanding array of vinyl and cassettes and much more.
