First Image of Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino's New Film

Margot Robbie took to Instagram to give a glimpse of her portrayal as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino's highly anticipated tenth film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Set in 1969 LA, the film centres on a TV actor (Leonardo Di Caprio) and his stunt double (Brad Pitt) who embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry at the same time as the Charles Manson murders.

The fictional pair in the film are neighbours of Sharon Tate (Robbie), the actress and wife of director Roman Polanski who in real life was killed by the members of the Manson family, while eight and a half months pregnant.

The film has a stacked cast also featuring Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Clifton Collins Jr, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis, Emile Hirsch, James Marsden, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Tim Roth, Timothy Olyphant and Zoë Bell.

Tarantino will write and direct, with the film scheduled to be released in July 2019.
