New online Irish language and culture course featuring Manchán Magan, Kneecap, ROIS and more

Yoga and meditation teacher Kathy Scott has teamed up with Irish writer Manchán Magan to launch a nine-week online course, Scoil Scairte: A Cultural Immersion, starting October 2, 2025.
The course explores Irish language, culture, and heritage, with contributions from notable figures including director Colm Bairéad, singer Iarla Ó Lionáird, Kneecap, musician RÓIS, poet Theo Dorgan, and musician Moya Brennan.
The program will feature a combination of live and self-paced learning with 9 weekly 90-minute bilingual sessions every Thursday until November 27.
Topics will cover language practice, Irish myths, and cultural discussions, alongside somatic tools and guided meditations.
This edition aims to offer a global audience the chance to connect with Irish culture and language, even from afar.
Enrollment is open until October 1, 2025, with spaces limited.
