Listowel Writers' Week returns later this month
This one week festival out in Kerry is the perfect getaway from modern busy life.
The prestigious Listowel Writers' Week is to take place from 29 May-2 June in Listowel, Co. Kerry.
Line-up: Colm Tóibín, Carol Drinkwater, Joseph O'Connor, Donal Ryan, Hugo Hamilton, Douglas Kennedy, Christine Dwyer Hickey, Anne Griffin, Sarah Davis Goff, Emma Dabiri, Andrew Miller, Roddy Doyle, Marianne Power, Steph Booth and more
Listowel Writers Week is a buzz, and once again the selection of top literary names is impressive. Now running for nearly 50 years, and having previously welcomed the likes of Kazuo Ishiguro and Alan Cumming, Listowel Writers' Week has established itself as a hugely engaging and entertaining week for readers and writers alike, complete with workshops, walks, panels, performances and more.
Hot Press Picks: Catch Christine Dwyer Hickey, who recently released The Narrow Land, which focuses on painter Edward Hopper's wife Jo: it's a beautifully written novel.
