The hugely popular content creator, podcaster, and Book Swap Social host discusses some of her favourite spots around her native Dublin and beyond...
My favourite club is obviously Pawn Shop (instagram.com/pawnshopdublin; 15 Dame St, Dublin 2), where I host my Book Swap Socials – it’s probably one of the last-standing clubs that we have.

I love l’Gueuleton (lgueuleton.com; 1 Fade St, Dublin 2). It’s great for people-watching, and drinks outside. I’ve also been hearing a lot about O’Regan’s (oregansdublin.com; 26-27 South Great George’s St, Dublin 2) across the road – they do a jazz night (Tuesdays) and a funk night (Thursdays).

We have great coffee too, all along Drury Street. I love Howth as well for a day out – that’s my favourite. But if you’re visiting Ireland, I would also say get out of Dublin. Obviously because we have the airport there, people tend to stick around and go to Temple Bar… But get out of Temple Bar!

I’ve done a lot of travelling, and I do think the food here is fantastic. I love Chez Max (chezmax.com; 1 Palace St, Dublin 2), and La Maison (lamaisondublin.com; 15 Castle Market, Dublin 2). And Tang (tang.ie; Dawson St, Abbey St, and Cumberland Place) is my favourite food spot in the whole of Dublin.

The Wild Atlantic Way (thewildatlanticway.com) is definitely my favourite stretch of Ireland. Go to Kerry – you can go out on boat trips in Dingle – or West Cork. I love Donegal as well. When I was 14, my mam rented a vintage Volkswagen camper. She drove us up to Donegal, and all the way down to Kerry, and it was really beautiful. It was me and my three sisters – so, many fights, obviously! And it didn’t have a toilet, so we were just going for jungle wees in the forest. But, even as a grumpy teenager, it was the best holiday I’ve ever had.
