Janet Devlin will host StageIt show next week
The show will be Devlin's 116th performance.
Janet Devlin, ex-X Factor contestant, is gearing up to release her long-awaited full length concept album Confessional. The release is planned in conjunction with the publication of Devlin's autobiography, titled My Confessional, which will chronicle her life thus far, struggle with mental health, and more.
The autobiography will be available on June 5th, and Devlin will perform her 116th show online via StageIt on April 30th. You can buy a ticket to Devlin's StageIt performance here. There will be two shows, one will take place at 8pm and the other from 12 midnight Dublin time.
“Writing the songs for Confessional at the same time as my autobiography has been one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done,” says Devlin. “There have been many times when I felt I would never be able to finish either of them. So, now that they’re both finished and no longer just ideas that reside in my broken mind, I stare back in wonder. Even I can’t believe what I’ve endured. Whatever compelled me to write the story of the last ten years of my life was also the same power that gave me the confidence to start believing I deserved this second chance. Through everything, I can genuinely say I owe my life to music. And now it’s time to set it free.”
