A night of bi-lingual poetry and spoken word club REIC, for a special evening curated by Ciara Ní É. At this they will present poet Dairena Ní Chinnéide, whose latest collection is Fé Gheasa/Spellbound. A mesmerising and incantatory presence onstage, she will be joined by guitar genius Steve Cooney.
Ciara Ní É is an interesting inclusion. She is poet, writer, rapper, teacher, curator, blogger and contributor to RTE.ie, and is always promoting the Irish language. Here are some videos of her too (in English and Irish). We particularly love the one of her performing her version of 'He's Just Not that Into You'.
