Irish label important! will release music every two months starting Friday

Important! is a unique new record label created by and for the community. The collective plans to release new music on the first Friday of every second month, usually promoting several projects at once. It aspires to be "an antidote to the digital streaming rat race and social media clout anxiety."

You can expect new works from artists working under new aliases and outside their usual sonic bounds. Important! aims to give musicians a space to explore their craft and have fun making and releasing new music.

May's releases are available for streaming on their website, and Bandcamp, and Soundcloud pages now. Current offerings range from a 20-minute long improvised jazz fusion set to a short pair of hyper-pop bangers. They've also got lo-fi folk music, improvisations recorded over tapes, and a project by an artist called INSULT.

They will update their pages with new music in July.
