Dinner At Eight to have European premiere at Wexford Festival Opera
Recently voted the world's best international opera festival, the Wexford Festival Opera returns this autumn from October 19 to November 4.
This year's highlights include the EUROPEAN PREMIERE of Dinner at Eight.
Based on the Kaufman play Dinner at Eight and the 1932 film of the same name starring Jean Harlow, and set in Depression-era Manhattan, the story revolves around an ill-fated dinner party organised by a society hostess.
Directed by Tomer Zvulun who also directed the critically acclaimed 'Silent Night' (Winner of the 2014 Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards 'Audience Choice Award' and 'Best Opera Award').
