Galway Comedy Festival: Russell Howard, Dara Ó Briain, Deirdre O'Kane and more announced
A mix of home-grown talent and international stars will be bringing the laughs out west next month
Russell Howard, Deirdre O'Kane, Dylan Moran, and Mario Rosenstock will all be part of a stacked line-up at this year’s Galway Comedy Festival, taking place in the city from 22-28 October.
Also performing are the likes of Emma Doran, Shane Todd, Sinéad Quinlan, Al Porter and Colin Geddis, who’ll be appearing alongside the already announced David McSavage, Ruby Wax, Des Bishop, Jimeoin, Michelle Wolf, Enya Martin, Micky Bartlett, and Fin Taylor.
All in all, 70 comics make up the bill, with 70 shows taking place across 17 venues over the week.
First taking place in 2005, the festival also hosts pub quizzes, improv, theatre, mime, photography, hip hop, and more. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday September 10. For more information visit www.GalwayComedyFestival.ie.
