Four Tet shares new eight-minute electronic track 'Scythe Master'
The UK artist debuted the track in his recent BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
English electronic musician Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, has shared his new track 'Scythe Master'.
The song, which appears on the compilation Eat Your Own Ears Recordings EP 1, is eight minutes long. The EP comes on a limited cassette as well as digitally and features music by Mount Kimbie, Sylvan Esso and the Cure’s Robert Smith, among others.
The Londoner said in a press release: “Shout out the magical powers of EYOE and the Scythe Master. Long may their musical offerings continue to bring bliss to this world.”
An early member of post-rock band Fridge, Hebden has released eleven albums as a solo artist, including Rounds (2003), Everything Ecstatic (2005) and Sixteen Oceans (2020). He recently shared the songs 'Butterflies', a collaboration with Skrillex and Starrah, in May 2021 and 'Looking At Your Pager', under his KH moniker, in May 2022.
Hebden recently won a streaming dispute with his former label Domino.
