Fleabag Will Not Be Back For A Third Series
Sian Clifford confirmed the series was ending.
Fleabag will not be returning for another series, making next week's episode the finale.
Actress Sian Clifford, who plays Claire in the series, delivered the news while on BBC Breakfast. Clifford also guaranteed that the conclusion of the show was "perfect."
"There will not be a third series. This is it," said Clifford. "I think that people will accept that it is the end when they see it because I think it is complete. I think the story is complete."
Fleabag was created by and stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve) as the lead, and premiered its first series in 2016. The series has garnered critical acclaim for its humorous and thoughtful handling of difficult themes, including grief and death.
