Empress Of collaborate with Amber Mark on pop track 'You’ve Got To Feel'
The track was released on Empress Of’s newly-launched label, Major Arcana.
Experimental pop artist Empress Of has enlisted the talents of New York singer Amber Mark for her new single, 'You've Got To Feel'.
Encouraging listeners to make their voices heard, the track arrives just one week out from the pivotal US election.
‘You’ve Got To Feel’ has been released via the artists' new label - 'Major Arcana' - and places Mark’s vocals front and centre, with Empress Of acting as producer.
The infectious dance-pop number wields synths, airy guitar strums, and spacious reverb to pack a punch.
Mark's lyrics speak to breaking down capitalism, collective action and rising above strife.
Empress Of's most recent album I'm Your Empress Of, was released on April 3 via Terrible.
The musician unveiled 'Give Me Another Chance' as the album's lead single.
"This record wasn’t written in a remote location," she says. "It wasn’t written in a collaborative effort. It was written in my small studio in Highland Park, Los Angeles, over two months in between touring the world. Music is magic. Something that possesses me, shows me things about myself that aren’t easy to see. It’s called I’m Your Empress Of because I’ve always felt that once a song is done, and the emotion is there and it’s not inside me anymore, it belongs to the world."
