Cliff Richard Celebrates 60 Years in Music with a New Tour!
Sir Cliff Richard, the British music icon, is celebrating the 60th Anniversary of his career with a new tour, coming to Ireland next month.
Richard began his career in 1958, with the hit single ‘Move It’. At the tender age of 17, Richard had released what many consider to be the first British rock record. From there he didn’t stop. Over the next 60 years he recorded 103 albums (with over 40 of them going platinum and over 50 going gold internationally) and 123 single hits. He has spent the equivalent of 20 years on the UK charts.
The new tour, titled “58-18 = 60th Tour”, will begin in Killarney in the INEC on Thursday September 27, continuing to Dublin’s 3Arena on Saturday September 29, before finishing the Irish leg of the tour in Belfast’s SSE Arena on Sunday September 30. He will then do 11 more shows in the UK, with the final show being in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.
Tickets are for sale now.
