Chelsea Handler announces a stand-up show at Dublin's Vicar Street in May
The comedian, author and television host will make stops across Europe and the US.
Comedian Chelsea Handler has announced A Broad Abroad stand-up tour, coming to Dublin on May 13.
The show will take place at Vicar Street, with other tour dates stretching across Europe, the US and UK. Presale begins on February 12 at 10 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales scheduled for Friday.
“I have never been more enthusiastic about finding love abroad,” said Handler.
The comedian has extensive television experience, working as the host of E!’s Chelsea Lately for seven years, followed by documentary series Chelsea Does and talk show Chelsea on Netflix. Handler has also written six New York Times best-selling books, with a seventh titled I’ll Have What She’s Having, set for release this month.
Handler earned a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album in 2020 for her HBO Comedy special Evolution. The following year, she held the Vaccinated and Horny Tour, performing 115 shows across North America and earning The Comedy Act of 2021 at the People’s Choice Awards. She also became the first female comedian to hold a residency at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, titled Chelsea at The Chelsea, with dates continuing throughout 2025.
