Breaking: Martin McGuinness resigns as Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland
Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness made the announcement during a press conference just moments ago.
The Deputy First Minister is stepping aside over the Renewable Heating Initiative scandal which could cost Northern Ireland upwards of £500 million. Read his letter of resignation here:
