Arlo McKinley drops new single ahead of Dublin show
The singer will play Workman's Club in June as part of the Oh Boy Records UK and EU tour.
Arlo McKinley gives us a taste of his forthcoming album This Mess We’re In, with the release of his new single ‘To Die For’. To coincide with the news, the singer will also play Dublin’s Workman’s Club on June 22.
He delivers another brazen taste of rust belt rock and roll with this track, following on from his previous new single, ‘Stealing Dark From The Night Sky.’
The new track is already a huge success on social media with a fan tweeting: “Arlo McKinley just dropped another slam dunk certified banger off the new album to the surprise of absolutely nobody. If you aren’t on this train, I can’t emphasize enough how much you’re missing out.”
Written in the wake of his mother’s passing, the loss of his best friend, and multiple others, This Mess We’re In will no doubt serve as the main source of comfort for McKinley and indeed many others in similar situations.
Between growing up singing and playing guitar in a Baptist church, dipping his toes into the soul, country, punk, and gospel scene has always been on the cards.
He will join Oh Boy Records UK and EU tour in June, where he will play one night at The Workman’s Club, featuring artists such as Emily Scott Robinson and Kelsey Waldon.
