The Strictly Come Dancer contestant isn't a stranger to musicals. She recently finished playing Svetlana in Chess , and toured as the lead role in both Sister Act and The Bodyguard - which had a brief run in Dublin.
Chicago opened on Broadway in 1975 and the revival holds the record as the longest-running musical revival and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. It is the second longest-running show in Broadway history after The Phantom of the Opera .
The show opened on the West End in 1997, where it played for 15 years. It recently opened again earlier this year to celebrate the 21st anniversary.
Burke will join Martin Kemp as Billy Flynn, Mazz Murray as Mama Morton, Josefina Gabrielle as Velma Kelly and Paul Rider as Amos Hart in the show.
She'll be with the production from Monday 13 August through to Saturday 14 October.
