Widely regarded as one of most vital voices in UK music, Loyle released his Mercury Prize-nominated debut album, Yesterday's Gone in 2017 – followed by Not Waving, But Drowning in 2019 and Hugo in 2022, both of which reached No.3 on the UK charts, while the latter scored yet another Mercury Prize nomination.
