Following a phenomenal talent search, featuring a genre-blending selection of acts from right across the country, the live finale showcase event for A New Local Hero is coming to The Academy in Dublin on Tuesday, October 15th – and we're giving you the chance to win tickets!

As Hot Press and the IBI announced earlier this month, the six national finalists who have been chosen to perform on the night are: Callum Agnew (LMFM), Bobbi Arlo (FM104), Asophonics (KCLR FM), Mia Black (Shannonside / Northern Sound), Jessica Brett (Tipp FM) and Projective (Corks 96FM).

Following the release of her empowering new single, 'My Eyes Are Open', award-winning artist Tolü Makay is set to treat fans to a special guest performance at the A New Local Hero live finale event.

As one of the central features of Irish Music Month, A New Local Hero is a major call to arms for Irish musicians and bands – with all 20 participating radio stations having reached out for submissions as part of the talent search.
