A band we’re inordinately fond of – and who a few years ago gave Hot Press a Eurosonic-tastic guided tour of Groningen where they’re based - House Of Cosy Cushions are over for dates in The Workman’s Club, Dublin (March 28); The Roundy, Cork (29) and De Barra’s, Clonakilty (30).

Mainman Richard Bolhuis is half-Irish/half-Dutch and 100% a maverick genius as new tune ‘Chant’ underlines.
It’s lifted from new album Spell, which drops in late March.
