Crown Paints search for act to soundtrack new TV ad

Bands, solo artists, producers and DJs from across Ireland and the UK are being invited to submit original music in MP3 form to [email][email protected][/email], which could end up soundtracking Crown Paints’ “It’s not just paint, it’s personal” TV ad campaign. Alternatively, you can upload your track to [link]soundcloud.com/crownpaintsmusic[/link], with the closing date for both forms of entry Saturday November 27.
The winners will get to record their song in Manchester’s Blueprint Studios, home in the past to the likes of Elbow, Mark Ronson and Gorillaz, and then have it released through iTunes to coincide with the ad’s launch.
Finalists will also get to consult with James Endecott, the British A&R man responsible for signing The Strokes, The Libertines and The View.
