Hopefully Blue Music will bring Anderson’s work to the wider audience it richly deserves
Jamie Anderson is the man responsible for the superb Latinism EPs, a series of records that explored the synergy between Brazilian percussion and dancefloor techno. The fact that he was dreaming up these sonic cocktails long before the current glut of chant sampling tracks marks him out as a trend setter rather than a follower. Indeed Blue Music represents all aspects of his increasingly diverse styles; from the deep, piano led tech-house of ‘Puesta Del Sol’ through his trademark percussive sound and into
the hard filters of ‘Can’t Stop’, hopefully Blue Music will bring Anderson’s work to the wider audience it richly deserves.
