Mac DeMarco announces Dublin and Belfast shows
Following his sold-out show in Vicar Street last November, Mac DeMarco has confirmed two Irish legs in his latest European tour.
The Canadian singer-songwriter will play Belfast’s Limelight 1 and a currently unnamed venue in Dublin, yet to be announced.
His latest record This Old Dog was released this time last year.
This month saw DeMarco unveil two new songs, called ‘She’s My Sweet’ and ‘Fuck The Toronto Raptors’. At the time, he proclaimed that the songs were “recorded on the red carpet at the Met Gala”. Aside from some other smaller snippets of materials - released in typically jovial fashion - indie slacker DeMarco has been relatively quiet on the music front.
The Dublin show will take place on October 28 while the Belfast leg hits Limelight 1 on October 29.
