Set to take place on Sunday February 4th 2018, the game will be held at the U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This will be the third time Timberlake has performed at the Super Bowl, making him the first solo artist to achieve such a feat. Furthermore, the 52nd NFL Super Bowl will be the first time Timberlake has performed as part of the Half-Time show in fourteen years.
Timberlake last headlined the event alongside Janet Jackson during 2004, in what is now known as the "Nipplegate" controversy after he exposed Jackson's breast onstage. Deemed a "wardrobe malfunction" at the time, Timberlake later famously remarked to Access Hollywood, "Hey man, we all love giving you something to talk about."

Quickly offering words of remorse, the now-repentant singer will return after having scooped up an Academy Award for his song, 'Can't Stop This Feeling!', which appeared on the soundtrack for the 2016 children's film, Trolls.
