Jägermeister Ice Kühl Series continues in Limerick with Mix & Fairbanks, Sylk and Meghann Scully
Dolans, Limerick, on April 26.
With Irish dance act Le Galaxie and Dublin RnB/soul group Super Silly having kicked the Ice Kühl party off in style down at Carlow Town this evening – have a look see here – the series continues, with the second event lined-up for Dolan’s in Limerick.
Top of the bill are Mix & Fairbanks, the Dublin DJ duo who’ve previously taken Forbidden Fruit and Electric Picnic by storm, and are responsible for the banging electroclash remix of Le Galaxie’s ‘Day Of The Child’. They’ll be making a timely appearance to play some tunes from their new EP, Bavarian Nights, which is out on April 28.
Joining them on the night are Sylk, the Dublin duo who give FKA Twigs a run for her money in the glacially cool electropop department. Fresh from the release of their latest single, ‘Girl’, Sylk have established themselves as purveyors of bass heavy soundscapes with darkly brooding lyrics.
MC duties will be masterfully handled by the one and only Meghann Scully from Spin South-West.
This all adds up to 360° entertainment designed to light up the night, with Jägerettes also on hand to ensure that everything is -18°C: the ideal temperature at which to serve Jägermeister. Best of all, these exclusive events are FREE to attend – with fans simply having to log on to hotpress.com/icekuhl to secure their tickets.
