Irish Trad legends The Gloaming have just released a very special video for 'The Booley House' as part of their Live at the NCH album due out on March 2nd.
The video features a live drawing by illustrator Jacob Stack starting with a blank piece of paper and arriving at a cozy indoor scene complete with a host of musical instruments, tonnes of books and what looks like a bottle of wine, which we can only assume is an insight into the creative process of the band.
The band were full of praise for the Charles Harper Award, LSAD Drawing awards 2011 winner, adding
"We’ve much enjoyed Jacob Stack’s illustrations and videos over the years and so took much delight in his new drawing that celebrates the release of Live at the NCH"
It's certain to be a busy time for band at the moment, as they prepare for a sold-out seven night residency in the National Concert Hall kicking off on March 5th if 'The Booley House' is any indication of what's to come, it's certain to be an absolute cracker of a concert.
