Glyder split
The Wicklow act have decided to call it a day
News has reached Hot Press that rock act Glyder have sadly decided to split. The band, who first performed together at 2004's Vibe For Philo, released their third album together in June of this year.
Band member Bat Kinane writes on his blog: "The writing has been on the wall for some time and I regret to inform you that Glyder have decided to call it a day... Things changed for Glyder before the making of the third album, and since then its been a struggle to keep going... All the supporters and believers and people who helped along the way I thank you sincerely."
Bat will continue with his solo career - "I am a little sore as I put so much effort in to this band but I will be taking a positive approach to the future and continuing on writing, recording and performing, blogging and doing what I do."
Best of luck to all Glyder members for the future.
