Deadmau5 gets married

Joel Zimmerman, the Canadian DJ and producer behind deadmau5, is now married. Kelly “Grill” Fedoni and Joel Zimmerman had the celebration on Saturday, August 12th.

Of course, when a hugely successful DJ gets married you know that the party has to be special. The ceremony was done in a nuclear fallout theme and included a full 40’ pyrotechnic display, high-quality DJ sets, and more tattooed bodies in fancy clothes than a Yakuza family gathering.

In perhaps the most sincere display of romance in the modern age, Zimmerman went offline from his highly active social media accounts. After all, the truest test of a relationship is when someone is more interesting than your smartphone.

After a relatively normal day of tweeting, Deadmau suddenly posted this: “k brb getting married.”

“actually serious, going offline for 2 days. tomorrows our big day, and i have to entertain guests and shit, so seeya monday (sic).”

In reality, he did not go completely offline. He continued to respond and post pictures of the event for most of the weekend. You can't fault him for wanting to share some of the celebration online. Check out some of the pictures below.
